Scholarship Criteria & Application
The Montgomery High School Alumni Foundation is proud to support the next generation of Montgomery High School alumni by offering up to three $1000 scholarships and one $2500 scholarship to graduating seniors who embody the true Viking spirit. These scholarships are designed to support students who are continuing their education at a college, university, community college, vocational, trade or technical school in the Fall.

Grant Requests Procedure
Who may submit requests?
Requests may be submitted by current MHS teachers, department heads, administration, coaches, adviros, students or alumni. Student requests must be approved by an advisor or administration.
What is the criteria for submitting a request?
Funds must benefit and enhance the educational or extracurricular opportunities for MHS students and staff in an effort to continually improve the school environment and offerings. Athletic teams must request funds from Boosters first; and classroom related requests must be submitted to the Education Foundation before submitting additional funding request from MHSAF.

* Drop off: Drop off in MHSAF mailbox at the Montgomery High front office.
* Requests are discussed and evaluated at monthly board meetings. A full board or quorom will vote to approve, deny or approve partial requests based on information provided. Ideally, applicant should attend a board meeting to present request and answer questions (2nd Thursday of each month, 5:15pm, Viking Room).
